🌸 Community Work — Yoga Therapy for Women’s Wellbeing

Supporting Migrant Women in Hong Kong

In 2023, I launched a year-long program offering Yoga Therapy for Women’s Wellbeing as a charity initiative for migrant domestic workers aging 35 to 60 in Hong Kong.

Many of these women carry heavy responsibilities — working long hours away from their families while facing unique physical and emotional challenges. I wanted to create a safe, supportive space where they could reconnect with their bodies, release stress, and find rest.

What I Offered

  • Weekly group yoga therapy sessions focused on energy, sleep, and emotional balance

  • Simple breathwork and movement practices that could be done anywhere

  • A welcoming community where women could support one another

Why This Matters

Wellbeing is not a luxury. It is a foundation for resilience, dignity, and joy — no matter one’s circumstances. This program was my way of giving back and learning from the incredible strength of the women I had the privilege to serve.

Moving Forward

The lessons from this community continue to shape my work today. They remind me that vitality practices are for everyone — accessible, inclusive, and deeply human.
